O'Reilly has quietly carved out an exciting and successful career as one of the countrys best chefs and restaurateurs, his career started under the guidance of his father and mentor Patrick O'Reilly at Dublins leading 5 star hotel, Eamonn stayed with his father for 5 years learning every aspect of the kitchen from larder/garde manger to saucier and then spending the last year honing his patisserie & bread skills, at the age of 20 he was the youngest ever chef to be accepted & to complete the Masters chef 2 year examination 706-3 London City & Guilds after which Eamonn worked as Restaurant Chef de Cuisine in leading hotels & restaurants & travelled extensively working at The Ritz-Carlton Boston, The Ritz-Carlton Detroit and The Sheraton Casablanca and went to Paris and worked at the Michelin 3 star Restaurant Meurice, rue di rivoli, at the age of 23 Eamonn was offered the position of Executive chef at a Dublin hotel and was awarded the Egon Ronay newcomer of the year 1997 at the age of 25 he opened the first of his restaurants One Pico to much acclaim and in 2001 moved to a bigger premises at his present address in Molesworth Place which is off St Stephens Green, Dublin 2. Subsequently Eamonn opened his second restaurant Pacific off Dame Street & In March 2003 opened his third restaurant Bleu Bistro Moderne which is situated on Dawson Street next to the mansion house, Eamonn O'Reilly is the sole owner of One Pico Restaurant & became the sole owner of Bleu Bistro at the end of 2009 he also runs a successful consultancy business.
